The Great Commission Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization aimed at providing free medical care and support to uninsured and underserved populations around the globe, fueled by the Gospel and Christ’s love. Since 2013, we’ve answered the Jesus’ command to go out into the world to tell others about Him. We believe the Bible makes it clear that this is our duty as followers of Christ, alongside serving and providing for those in need. Whether it’s medical/non-medical missions across the globe or community events right here at home, our teams work dilligently as the hands and feet of Christ to serve others and proclaim His Gospel.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR FOUNDER
In Matthew 28:18-20, the Lord said “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” The word GO is not a suggestion, it is a command. We are commanded to go and tell.
Holly and I participated in our first mission trip in 1993 to Venezuela. It was then that we realized that we had to be faithful to that command, GO. In 1995, we began to lead mission teams to foreign countries once or twice a year. In 2013, we were led to form The Great Commission, Inc., a nonprofit corporation through which we would continue to reach the world for Christ. We have team members who have been faithfully serving with us for decades. It has also been a joy and a privilege to introduce new team members to the mission field every year. Our medical clinics draw thousands of people who are seeking physical healing. To every one of these persons the Gospel is presented so that they can also experience spiritual healing.
What a blessing it has been to be able to carry out the Lord’s commandment! However, the mission field is not only overseas. It is also in your neighborhood, your city, your state, and your country. The Great Commission is also involved in local projects to help those in need and to bring them the good news of the Gospel.
Matthew 25:35 - “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.”

WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Bible
We believe the Bible to be to the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. The Scriptures are a complete revelation of God's will for salvation, providing guidance for teaching, correction, and training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21, Isaiah 40:8)
The Godhead
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal, each fully God. Our triune God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, and His nature is a perfect unity of love, holiness, and truth. He(2 Corinthians 13:14, 1 John 5:7-8)
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully divine and fully human, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. The Father sent Him to dwell on earth where He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and taught with all authority. Jesus willingly died on the cross in atonement of our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, conquering sin and death. He ascended to heaven and will return in glory one day to retrieve His church. In Him and through Him all things that were and are were created. Those who put their faith in Him and accept Him as Lord will receive eternal life in communion with Him, the Father, and the Holy Spirit. (Colossians 1:19-20, John 1:14, Hebrews 13:8)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by the indwelling of Whom the born-again Christian is enabled to live a godly life and perform good works. The Holy Spirit is fully God and actively at work in the world today. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates and sanctifies believers, dwelling within them and empowering them for godly living and service. The Holy Spirit bestows spiritual gifts for the edification of the Church and guides believers into all truth. (John 14:26, John 15:26, Ephesians 4:30)
The Gospel and Salvation
We believe that the Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, which provides the only way of salvation for sinful humanity. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Those who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ are justified, adopted into God's kingdom, and given eternal life. This salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned by human efforts. (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 6:23, John 1:12)
The Great Commission
We believe that Jesus Christ has commissioned His followers to go out into the world, teach others about Him, and raise up disciples in obedience of His commandments. This is a calling every Christian must answer- to proclaim the Gospel and the message of salvation to the ends of the earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and in obedience of and in love for their Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8)
