SUPPORT FOR OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY

We at The Great Commission look at missions through a word-wide lens, but that doesn’t mean we overlook the needs right here at home. Based out of Martinez, Georgia in the greater Augusta area, we have been able to partner with several other local organizations and churches to provide free medical services and meet other needs for the uninsured and underserved in our area. In the past, we have partnered with Miracle Making Ministries to support several of their projects, including providing supplies and support to Druid Park Health Center, the only completely free medical clinic in the CSRA. We have also provided support and free medical clinics at several local events such as back to school backpack ministries, Christmas ministries, and other church-sponsored events. We look forward to being able to focus more on local ministry and service in the near future.
